Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has released
notification for the recruitment of 57 Field Engineer (Electrical,
Civil), Field Supervisor (Electrical, Civil) vacancies temporary &
contract basis in Eastern Region Transmission System-II for
Comprehensive Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Scheme assigned
by Govt. of Sikkim in the state of Sikkim. Eligible candidates can apply online
form 01-06-2015 at 00:00 Hrs to 03-06-2015 by 23:59 Hrs. Other details

Name of the Posts:
1. Field Engineer (Electrical): 10 Posts
2. Field Engineer (Civil): 15 Posts
3. Field Supervisor (Electrical): 24 Posts
4. Field Supervisor (Civil): 08 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates
age should be 18-29 years as on 01-06-2015. Age relaxation is applicable
3 years for OBC (NCL), 5 years for SC/ ST, 10 years for PwD (UR), 13
years for PwD (OBC-NCL), 15 years for PwD (SC/ ST) as per rules.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc Engg/ BE (Power Engg)/ AMIE
in Electrical/ Civil Discipline from recognized university/ institute
with minimum 55% marks for post 1, 2, Diploma in Electrical/ Civil
Engineering from recognized Board/ Institute with minimum 55% marks for
post 3, 4 with relevant experience.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on screening test, interview.
Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay Rs. 300/- + bank charges of Rs. 60/- for post 1,
2, Rs. 200/- + bank charges of Rs. 60/- for post 3, 4 through Challan at
any branch of SBI. No fee for SC/ ST, PwD candidates.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess M. Tech./ MS/ ME / M.Sc (Engg)/ IDD
(Integrated Dual Degree) in relevant discipline with minimum 65% marks
or equivalent CGPA in B.Tech/ BE/ B.Sc (Engg)/ IDD/ AMIE OR Ph.D in
relevant discipline with minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA in B.Tech/
BE/ B.Sc (Engg)/ IDD/ AMIE with relevant experience.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Academic background, Screening Test & Personal interview.

Candidates have to pay Rs. 400/- (No fee for SC/ ST/ PwD/ Ex-SM
candidates) through A/C Payee Demand Draft in favour of “Power Grid
Corporation of India Ltd” payable at New Delhi (preferably drawn on
State Bank of India).
